Érase una vez 1995. Hace ya 13 añazos salió a la venta el que es para mí con muchísima diferencia el mejor videojuego de la historia. Yo lo descubrí mucho después gracias a la magia de los emuladores, pero de todos modos nunca llegó a Europa, sólo salió de la mano de Square en Japón el 11 de marzo de aquel 1995 y el 22 de agosto en América, siendo un gran éxito de público y crítica con 2 millones y medio de copias vendidas. Muchísimas personas como yo quedaron marcadas por el juego que más se acerca a la perfección según sus puntos de vista. Los viajes en el tiempo, un argumento de película con puntos álgidos que te estremecen, los mejores combates vistos en un juego de rol gracias al sistema de técnicas dobles y triples, la inolvidable música, los diseños de Akira Toriyama, los carismáticos protagonistas, los viajes en el tiempo, los múltiples finales, los cientos de secretos... Tienes que saber que se trata de...


Y ese reloj que ves en el principio de la entrada sigue en marcha marcando la hora en dos webs teaser tanto para Japón como para América aquí y aquí. Sólo escuchar su tic-tac me pone los pelos de punta, y si viera caer ya un péndulo me desmayaría. Bueno, tanta emoción para contar que está confirmado que Chrono trigger llegará este año a Nintendo DS. Sí, sí, ¡Chrono trigger DS! Se ha comentado ya en miles de sitios, yo tengo 16 artículos en mi lector de feeds. Todo sale del siguiente recorte de la revista Shonen Jump.


Parece que para estas navidades tendremos tanto en Japón como en América El Juego. ¿Hablar de remake o port? Más bien port, pues parece que no tratarán de modificar demasiado un juego perfecto, y por las imágenes aún no podemos ver nada claro, aunque echad un vistazo a la comparación de abajo entre el original, y la foto que tenemos hasta ahora.
